Founded in 1979, Full Sail University has a total enrollment of over 16,000 students and offers 78 certificate, associate, bachelor, and master programs. Full Sail’s degrees are designed to meet industry demands across the entertainment, media, art, and technology professions, and all courses are highly immersive, emphasizing experiential, hands-on learning and skill development. Full Sail has expanded its online programs in the last few years to meet growing demand for flexible, affordable, and individualized education in the creative field; further, many degrees are offered on accelerated to hyper-accelerated tracks, including 32-month bachelors and 12-month masters.

One way the university keeps up with industry trends is through its Program Advisory Committee, which consist of working professionals that help to build curricula; faculty who continue to work in their respective fields; and an emphasis portfolio projects that students can take to future employers. All students also benefit from a dynamic career development center, student support center, and extensive alumni network. Financial aid opportunities are available – including the Momentum Scholarship, worth $20,000 — and all tuition includes textbooks, manuals, media, production materials, lab fees, technology fees, and other costs. Graduates have gone on to work at Bunim/Murray, Pixar, ESPN, HBO Studios, Rockstar Games, and MTV, among other places.
Undergraduate applicants should have earned at least a high school diploma; graduates should have earned at least a 2.5 college GPA. All applicants must complete an interview with an Admissions Representative. Further, online students are required to take a technology orientation and assessment and online education readiness evaluation. Certain degree tracks require some basic artistic skills and proficiency prior to enrollment, including Computer Animation, Game Art, Game Design, and Game Development.
